Bhoomi Puja Performed For Naidu's House At Velagapudi

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and wife Bhuvaneswari on Wednesday performed bhoomi puja for their house near the Secretariat at Velagapudi in the presence of family members.

Several Vedic scholars were present at the time of puja. The bungalow will be built in an area of five acres which has been purchased by Naidu from the farmers. Sources said the construction will be taken up in an area of 2500 square yards leaving the remaining area for greenery and security.

The building is located beside the Secretariat and next to E 6 road. A large number of villagers who were present offered silk silk clothes to the Naidu couple.
